Hi! My name is Ness Wells, and I am the sole creator of this project. I have been working on the story surrounding this game for years at this point and was excited to work on a game concept about it—over a year ago, I made a text-based game about the same characters, but the story has come incredibly far since then and I was beyond ecstatic to be able to better depict the story I care so much about in a new way outside of the text game and my own personal writing.

I came up with the characters of Jackrabbit and the angel a little over two years ago, but they existed as concepts long before that, mostly inspired by my interest in Catholic theology, my conflicting feelings about religion and the modern world, and my experiences as a queer, mentally ill person attending Catholic school for eleven years. Originally a way to explore my own feelings recovering from the most severe episode of depression I've ever experienced, this story has evolved to become an exploration of the queer, neurodivergent experience, and a critique of the modern world from that perspective. Revelation has always been one of my favorite books of the Bible because of its beautiful, terrifying imagery and deep historical symbolism, and I felt that its craziness and critiques fit really well with my goals for the story, as well as with my own interests. So, here we are!
